Mostly personal correspondence of Morgan family members, in particular Boston Globe editor James Morgan; his wife Helen (Dailey) Morgan; Salt Lake City lawyer Nicholas G. Morgan; and Peoria, Ill., financier Harry T. Morgan. Also, daily diaries of Helen Morgan for 1891, 1893, 1918-1962; her European and middle East travel diaries for 1901, 1905, 1907, 1909, 1911, 1913, 1925, 1929, and 1934; and diary of Agnes H. Maule for Jan.-Apr. 1937. Among the miscellaneous materials, the collection contains genealogical information on the Morgan, Bruce, and related families; some autobiographical writings by family members; and typed transcripts of James Morgan correspondence, including letters from Felix Frankfurter and Cardinal William O'Connell.

Felix Frankfurter (November 15, 1882 – February 22, 1965) was an American lawyer, professor, and jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
